A Fastrack designed NextGen Mustang race car

These manual transmission Mustangs are purpose-built, powerful, lightweight and fast and capable of racing for 12 hours at Bathurst. This will be reminiscent of driving the latest spec supercar on the mountain.

This rare experience includes:

  • Your driver’s briefing featuring John Bowe
  • Use of a race suit and helmet
  • 4 lap drive with a Motorsport Australia licensed pro driver as you in-car coach

Mt Panorama—the legend itself. Mt Panorama and it’s signature event, the Bathurst 1000 is the crown jewel in Australian motor racing and the ultimate destination for any true blue V8 racing fan.

The perfect mix of speed, endurance and excitement, Mt Panorama ticks every box, making it one of the most exciting and challenging circuits in motorsport.

However, despite its global fame, Mount Panorama isn’t a permanent racetrack. The circuit is made up of public roads that access homes and farms and usually maintains a strict 60km/h speed limit.

This means that few people get to experience Mt Panorama as it should be enjoyed—in the seat of a V8 Supercar at hair-raising speed! However, for a lucky few, dreams can become reality. The mountain plays host to a limited number of V8 driving or hot lap experiences, where lucky participants can join the small and exclusive club of drivers who get to experience the thrill and power of the mountain—just like a professional V8 Supercar racing driver.

On the day

Weather Information

Your Fastrack V8 Race experience is weather dependent.

If it’s raining before you leave home, please call our weather check number on 0412 018 035 for a recording with the latest track and weather conditions.

If a total or partial rainout does occur, your booking will automatically be turned into a gift voucher and will be emailed to you.

Session Length

Please arrive at the confirmed arrival time on your confirmation. Allow approx 3 hours at the race track.

Indemnity Form

An Indemnity form will need to be completed by the participant in the experience. The indemnity form can be downloaded here

Dress Code

Weight and height restrictions apply (please see FAQ for more information). Please wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes – we recommend runners.

Spectator Information

Friends and family are welcome to come along and share your experience at no additional fee. There is plenty of good viewing and photo opportunities at the venue. Catering facilities may be available on the day (please see FAQ for more information).

Rebooking

Please note Bathurst is an exceptional event, a 60-day cancellation policy applies. No bookings will be refunded or rescheduled within 60 days of the booked event. Vouchers can be transferred to another person if the original participant is unable to attend. Lunch bookings purchased are non-refundable.
