This experience is something very special for any Australian motorsport fan. Not only do you get to drive a V8 Race Car, you then get hot laps with John Bowe, V8 Supercar, Bathurst 1000 and 12 Hour champion. Fastrack V8 Race is thrilled to be able to offer a limited number of clients this rare opportunity to meet and then be driven flat out by “JB”, a living legend and great guy.

  • 6 driving laps with your own personal Motorsport Australia experienced in-car coach
  • 2 hot laps riding in the front seat with Australian V8 legend John Bowe
  • Pre-drive briefing, use of race suit and open face helmet
  • Cars have electronic lap counters with laps measured from pit to pit

On arrival you will sign on and be kitted up into your race attire, have your photo taken in our professional photo garage and when ready, have your helmet fitted and be strapped in for an adrenaline filled 6 lap drive and heart racing 2 lap front seat ride that will have you feeling the rush of motorsport.

Sydney Motorsport Park, formerly known as Eastern Creek Raceway, is one of Australia’s most known and loved car and motorcycle racing circuits. From the Motorcycle Grand Prix, A1GP, and the legendary V8 Supercar series—Sydney Motorsport Park is home to some of the most iconic moments in international motorsport.

As well as being the only permanent track in Sydney, a 2011 refurbishment and extension has made it wildly popular for race drivers, motor racing enthusiasts and those lucky enough to come by and test the track themselves with a hair-raising V8 Supercar driving and hot lap experience, or an amazing Exotic Supercar Drive experience.

On the day

Weather Information

Your Fastrack V8 Race experience is weather dependent.

If it’s raining before you leave home, please call our weather check number on 0412 018 035 for a recording with the latest track and weather conditions.

If a total or partial rainout does occur, your booking will automatically be turned into a gift voucher and will be emailed to you.

Session Length

Please arrive at the confirmed arrival time on your confirmation. Allow approx 3 hours at the race track.

Indemnity Form

An Indemnity form will need to be completed by the participant in the experience. The indemnity form can be downloaded here

Important to know

Dress Code

Weight and height restrictions apply (please see FAQ for more information). Please wear comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes – we recommend runners.

Spectator Information

Friends and family are welcome to come along and share your experience at no additional fee. There is plenty of good viewing and photo opportunities at the venue. Catering facilities may be available on the day (please see FAQ for more information).

Rebooking

If you need to change your booking within 14 days or less before your event day, the following fees will apply:

  • Bookings changed between 8-14 days of the experience date will incur a $30 re-booking fee
  • Bookings changed within 7 days of the experience date will incur a $50 re-booking fee
