HIGHLIGHTS

HOT SHOT EXPERIENCE: Each Hot Shot Experience includes two 6 lap sessions (12 laps in total) with coaching and judging. This will determine if you have what it takes to move into the Top Ten candidates chosen for the “shootout”.

SHOOTOUT: If upon initial Hot Shot judging, you qualify to enter the Top Five shootout in each State, you will be invited back at a later date, where the fastest contestant overall will be awarded a one-year contract as a professional hot lap driver for Fastrack V8 race.

• The winners will receive professional training and a motorsport licence.

Craft your circuit driving skills with track time that every aspiring racer dreams of and be paid $500 dollars per day for a 12 month contract in Sydney or Melbourne. That’s good extra income without needing your own race car or to give up your regular work.

HERE’S HOW IT ROLLS…

On the day, you’ll be assigned a professional in-car coach for one-on-one briefing and tuition. Your coach will be with you to enhance your 6 lap Practice session, then judge and score your second 6 lap session, and take note of your improvement on track. Independently, a second professional racing instructor will review and score your in-car telemetry and video.

The 10 highest point scorers will be invited to participate in a Shootout in Sydney or Sandown with the fastest driver at each venue awarded a one-year contract as a HOT SHOT professional V8 hot lap driver.

Terms & Conditions

Applicants must have a current Australian driver’s license.

Applicants who have worked as a driving instructor/coach either as a contractor or employee for Fastrack V8 Race Experience since 1st of January 2020 are NOT eligible to apply.

Applicants agree to acknowledge that the decision based on the judging criteria will be accepted as final.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain a Motorsport Australia license.

Any additional extended training period will be supplied by Fastrack V8 Race Experience prior to the commencement of the contract.
