The Hot Shot Experience – Anyone can be our next Hot Laps Driver

Become a paid Fastrack Driver in a new Gen3 Camaro V8 racing car. It’s for everyone no age barrier, no experience, ladies, gentleman…start your engines.

The Highlights:

•  12 laps driving a Holden V8 Racecar – your ‘Hot Shot’ to qualify for The Shootout
• The Top Ten 3 lap Shootout – the fastest in both Sydney (NSW) and Sandown (VIC) wins a contract to be a Fastrack Pro Hot Laps Driver
• The two Hot Shot Drivers will drive a new Gen3 inspired Chevrolet Camaro V8 Racecar
• One Hot Shot driver is selected to drive the Camaro for Fastrack Hot Laps at Bathurst

HOT SHOT EXPERIENCE (12 laps)

Your journey begins with the Hot Shot Experience, featuring two adrenaline-pumping 6-lap sessions (12 laps in total). During the ‘Qualifier’, you’ll drive a Holden V8 racing car and receive expert coaching and be judged on your driving prowess. This isn’t just another day at the track; it’s your shot at becoming one of the Top Ten candidates who be invited to the next stage—the ultimate Shootout. Make sure you’ve got the family there to share in the excitement.

HOT SHOT SHOOTOUT (3 laps)

If you make it into the Top Ten, the adventure doesn’t stop there. You’ll be invited back for the Shootout at your choice of Sydney Motorsport Park or Sandown Raceway where the fastest driver from each venue will earn a coveted one-year contract as a professional hot lap driver for Fastrack V8 Race for all events at your preferred venue in the 2025 calendar year.

Your Racecar? A brand new Gen3 inspired Chevrolet Camaro V8 Racing car, engineered by Fastrack to the be ultimate driving and hot laps thrill machine! Imagine your Insta in 2025.

BEING A HOT LAP DRIVER

This is your chance to join the ranks of Australia’s finest drivers, thrilling clients and turning your dream to become a motorsport professional driver, into a reality. You’ll never know, until you give it a go.

As a professional hot lap driver, you’ll spend quality time on the track, mastering the art of high-speed precision driving in a fully prepared V8 racing car. You’ll earn $500 per day and can select to drive on any or all the event days in your state, receiving invaluable tips and guidance from seasoned elite racing drivers. This is more than just a weekend job; it’s a chance to live the dream every racing enthusiast craves.

BATHURST KING – THE CROWNING GLORY

Only Fastrack has the experience to provide an amazing grand finale to your tenure as a pro hot laps driver. One of the two 2025 Hot Shot drivers will be selected to receive the ultimate ‘King of the Mountain’ motorsport experience – driving the Camaro V8 on the Mount Panorama Racing Circuit at Bathurst. The ‘King’ will then get paid to drive for Fastrack Experiences providing hot laps at Bathurst on December 1 and 2.

Terms & Conditions

Applicants must have a current Australian driver’s license.

Applicants who have worked as a driving instructor/coach either as a contractor or employee for Fastrack V8 Race Experience since 1st of January 2020 are NOT eligible to apply.

Applicants agree to acknowledge that the decision based on the judging criteria will be accepted as final.

The successful applicant will be required to obtain a Motorsport Australia license.

Any additional extended training period will be supplied by Fastrack V8 Race Experience prior to the commencement of the contract.
