Booking Changes and Cancellations
Experience Central trading as Fastrack Experiences does not own or control the venues they operate at. Event dates are subject to change without notice by the venue owner and Fastrack Experiences will endeavour to provide alternative dates should this situation arise.
Once you have made a booking, cancellation charges may apply if you are unable to attend:
Standard Events:
$30.00 rebooking fee if booking is changed within 8-14 days from your booked date.
$50.00 rebooking fee if booking is changed 7 days or less from your booked date.
Bathurst Event:
Please note: as Bathurst is an exceptional event, a 60-day cancellation policy applies. No bookings will be rescheduled within 60 days of the booked event. Bookings and Vouchers can be transferred to another person if the original participant is unable to attend. Lunch bookings purchased are non-refundable.
Failure to give notice or un-attendance:
In the event that you redeem a voucher “convert to a booking” and you do not attend the experience date, or choose not to participate in your experience will result in your booking being unusable for any future bookings and the redemption period being void. This is due to Fastrack Experiences bearing the cost to prepare and provide your experience irrespective of your un-attendance or non-participation.
Redeeming Your Voucher
Your voucher is required for redemption on the day of your experience.
Voucher Validity
- General Event Voucher’s; purchased directly through Fastrack Experiences are valid for 3 years from purchase date.
- Bathurst Event Voucher’s; purchased directly through Fastrack Experiences align with The Australian Consumer Law (ACL) for a good or service available for a limited time where the card or voucher expires at the end of that period (e.g. entry to a concert or museum exhibition or one off event). Vouchers on sale will be valid for the Bathurst event date as stated on the Fastrack Experiences website. If the Bathurst offering for the following year becomes unavailable due to venue availability’, the vouchers three year validity and equal value will be applied to any alternative Fastrack Experiences of the Voucher Holders choice.
Refunds
No refunds will be offered on any purchased experiences. However, vouchers and bookings are transferrable – in the case of transfers, the original purchaser must provide notification of who the voucher will be given to before the booking or voucher expires. No refunds will be offered on expired bookings or vouchers.
Venues
If for any reason your selected venue you purchased your experience for was withdrawn, we would make our best efforts to provide your experience through an alternate venue; if this is not suitable, you can obtain a refund once the voucher is sent back and received by Fastrack Experience office.
Experience Descriptions
You can contact our customer service team for clarification on any experience. The information supplied is correct at time of publication; however, it is abbreviated and may change slightly from time to time without notice.
Transportation
All experiences unless expressly mentioned in the experience details are supplied excluding transportation to and from relevant venues.
Experience Pictures
The pictures are used as an indication only of the experiences. The venues, vehicles, settings, and equipment may vary.
Session Lengths
Session lengths are an indication only of the time you will be at the venue. You should allow three hours to complete your experience. This may be extended due to rain or change in track conditions.
Restrictions
Fastrack Experiences provides all information regarding any restrictions that may apply, i.e. minimum age, weight, health or any other restriction in the online FAQ section and indemnity form.
Disability
Certain Fastrack Experiences supplied may be unsuitable or require alternate arrangements for individuals with a disability. We are happy to make any such practicable arrangements on your behalf. Please make us aware of any such disability prior to your selection of purchase.
Vehicles
All Fastrack Experience Vehicles are purpose-built V8 Race cars designed for the Fastrack V8 on track Experience, or in the case of the Supercar Drive Experience, Exotic Supercars have been specifically chosen for their Iconic nature and your driving enjoyment.
Indemnity Waiver and Insurance
The below will be implemented in the required areas of the T&C’s.
Our most popular add on, giving you peace of mind on your special day is the Damage Waiver. As with any drive experience there is a damage excess if the vehicle you drive is damaged in any way. This damage excess is $5000. By purchasing the damage waiver, it completely removes this risk on the day and brings the excess down to zero;
• Waiver: 1 Car for $49.00, 2 Cars for $75.00 and 3 Cars for $99.00.
• No waiver: your excess liability will be up to $5,000
Damage Waiver & Excess Terms and conditions:
It is important to us that You enjoy your experience with us and have all the information You need. So please do not complete your indemnity without reading all Terms and Conditions and Annexures, as once you complete your indemnity, you expressly agree Experience Central can recover all charges set out in the terms and conditions. This includes all relevant administration charges, fees, loss and damage costs (subject to any relevant excesses applying), court costs and/or any other charges.
Damage that is not Your fault:
If damage occurs while you are in control of a vehicle, you will not be liable to compensate Experience Central provided you have complied with the advised processes and were acting reasonably, or damage has occurred through the actions of a third party.
How to settle damage excess:
Fastrack experience will assess the damage and determine the repair costs. During the course of Fastrack Experiences assessing the cost of damage, the excess will fall within the definition of Fastrack Experiences becoming a ‘credit provider’ under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, and the Credit Reporting Code registered under that Act. This repair cost will be provided to you by way of a “damage excess charge invoice” which is a document that outlines the amount a customer is required to pay for the damage and the time in which the debt must be settled.
Unpaid damage invoices:
If an invoice remains unpaid past the due date, Fastrack Experiences reserves the right to engage third party recovery agencies, and, or, file any unpaid invoice disputes with the relevant claims tribunal.
Weather or other factors causing disruption or cancellation
Fastrack Experiences are subject to weather conditions. Rain will cause delays and may result in the cancellation of the event. It is strongly recommended that you contact the Weather Check Phone (0412 018 035) for track and weather conditions prior to leaving home. The message is updated at 7 am on the day of the event. If you are not able to participate on the day due to inclement weather, you should reschedule on the day at the track Reception to avoid incurring a rebooking fee; this is only available to participants that are in attendance on the day. Your voucher expiry date will be extended for an additional 12 months only from the date of rain cancellation.
Fastrack Experiences relies on a range of other parties, including but not limited to sports governing bodies, venue owners, event organizers and permit providers, local councils and state government departments, insurance providers, safety officers and medical personnel, to enable their events to be staged. Fastrack Experiences cannot control the actions of third parties upon which Fastrack Experiences relies to conduct its activities. Fastrack Experiences is not liable for any costs or damages incurred by customers in relation to event postponement or cancellations. If Fastrack Experiences cannot deliver the purchased experience, your voucher expiry date will be extended for an additional 12 months from the date of said cancellation, fully transferable. Fastrack Experiences is not liable for any additional travel, accommodation or any other costs incurred by participants, their family and friends attending any scheduled Fastrack Experiences events.
Group Event Bookings
Accounting for the below terms and conditions, our organisation will assist with your event planning and remain engaged leading up to and during your event.
FEES:
(a) 25% payable Seven (7) days from booking confirmation, and
(b) 75% payable Fourteen (14) days prior to the date of the event.
REDUCING THE INDIVIDUAL NUMBER OF BOOKED PARTICIPANTS prior to the event date may result in a forfeit of Individual participant fees.
GROUP EVENT CANCELATION:
(a) If notice of event cancelation is given by the client once a booking confirmation is received, 10% of the total event fee is non-refundable.
(b) If notice of event cancelation is given by the client less than 3 calendar months from the event date’ 100% of the total event fee is payable.
In the case of AN EVENT BEING CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER IMPAIRMENT OR OTHER NATURAL CAUSES outside the control of our organisation, vouchers will be issued to your organisation, allowing an alternative event date to be mutually agreed. These vouchers will be valid for three years from the date of the booking. You may also choose to TRANSFER VOUCHERS individually, allowing recipients of the voucher to attend our organisations general public event dates, however, this will constitute the void of a full event day being rescheduled and no partial refunds will be available.
These terms, conditions and fees are subject to your rights under law.
Complaints
If you are unsatisfied with your Fastrack Experiences, please bring it to the attention of the event management on the day. It is important you do this so that both parties have immediate access to a solution. Our ability to fix any issues after the day is often limited.
Agent
Fastrack Experiences uses a number of agents to supply Vouchers to our products. A Voucher is a purchase that is pending a clients booking of a specific event date. Vouchers (excluding bookings) with the Agent are subject to the Agents conditions and not the conditions of Fastrack Experiences. It is recommended that you read the terms and conditions of those agents with regard to refund or voucher expiry dates. Please note that once a booking is made, that booking then defaults to Fastrack Experiences conditions.
Liability
Fastrack Experiences has no liability for any damage or loss caused by any negligent omission or act of any service or third party. Experience Central has no liability for any act, default or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, of any service provider. Where Fastrack Experiences liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the voucher purchased.
Indemnity Form
As per all action events, an indemnity form providing your willful participation must be completed before the day of your event. Please complete online as part of your booking confirmation. Click here for the link to the indemnity form online.
Other Information
All Prices are in Australian dollars, include GST and are correct at time of publication. Fastrack Experiences reserves the right to change prices without notice. Any change in price will be communicated before a purchase is placed.
